Dexilip® HERP heals lips suffering from oral herpes. It creates an invisible film wherever it is applied and thus transfers healing substances for relief and regeneration into your skin. It is suitable for adults, teenagers, and even for children six year old and up.
Thanks to its unique ingredients and application method it helps during all stages – from the initial itching to the final stage of the healing the scab and subsequent repair of the damaged area.
Unlike most remedies commonly used to treat cold sores, the ingredients of our product are for the most part natural.
In a tube of Dexilip HERP, you can find a soft aromatic gel. When you apply it to your lip, it will quickly become an invisible film which will continue to release healing and regenerating substances into the herpes spot as well as your skin.
Carrageenan, an extract from seaweed, when combined with Xanthan gum, creates a unique natural technology able to create an invisible film on your lips in a natural but efficient way. It is important to note that this film is flexible, pleasant and adaptable. It does not prevent you from any activities. You can laugh, speak, and eat – all that without being afraid that anyone around you will notice what is on your lips.
The creation of a film above the herpes serves two main purposes:
Lemon balm essential oil has a proven strong antiviral effect. It can deactivate the virus directly; what is more, it shortens the healing period, prevents the spread of infections, and inhibits unpleasant local sensations (itching, tingling, burning, pricking, oedema). In addition, it gives the product a very pleasant aroma and taste.
The product also contains an essence from the root of liquorice. It has been proven in various studies that it prevents the replication of the virus, and has a strong anti-inflammation effect. It is sweet (100 times more than sucrose) so it gives the product a sweet taste.
This oil is frequently used in medicine and cosmetics; it has an anti-inflammation, antibacterial and analgesic effect (it prevents you from feeling pain). When combined with the lemon balm essence, the lavender oil provides a unique, very pleasant aroma to the product.
This provitamin is natural to the human body – vitamin B5. It plays a crucial part in the healing and reparation process of the skin. It hydrates the skin, prevents the loss of water trough epidermis, and keeps the skin elastic and soft.
It is found in cereal grain and is very well-known for its ability to improve your immune system. It increases the body’s resistance against viruses, moulds and bacteria, and also supports the healing process of the skin.

We left out all of that from Dexilip® HERP. Alcohol would definitely burn and sting when you have herpes, there is enough of sugar everywhere, flavourings and colourings are not desirable. You won’t find these ingredients in Dexilip® HERP.
Apply a small layer of Dexilip® HERP up to 5 times a day to the spot affected by oral herpes. It is easy - the applicator is right on the tube so you don’t need to apply it with your fingers. This prevents the infection from spreading further. Use the applicator to gently spread a drop of the gel – a small amount really is enough. It is important to create a soft invisible film on the herpes. There is 7ml of the gel in one tube – enough for a repeated everyday use during the whole time you have herpes, and probably for the next time too.
Most commonly, adolescents and adults suffer from herpes. However, when it comes to children, safety is our top priority. We created Dexilip® HERP with the utmost consideration for the best possible tolerance by sensitive skin. The testing of the cosmetic product was carried out by the National Institute of Public Health (NIPH) which authorized it as safe for children aged 6 years and up.
